Hopi Bear Concho Belt

2000s Sterling Silver Overlay Concho Belt by Hopi silversmith, Bradley Gashwazra. All 15 conchos and the buckle feature overlaid bear designs, each with unique Hopi symbols, such as prayer feathers (pahos), water waves, mountains, or lightning. 

The buckle and conchos are mounted on a custom 1” wide black leather belt with hand-tooled stamping. Each silver piece is masterfully crafted in the overlay technique and reflects Gashwazra’s precise and symbolic style.

Part of the historic Kopavi Collection, this piece has never been previously owned.
